Confirmation

"I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,  so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,  and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."

Each year St. John's offers an extensive program to help sixth graders prepare to become full members of St. John's United Methodist Church. Direction and guidance includes weekly instruction and time with adult teachers. The program is designed to encourage a special bond between Confirmands as they walk through the journey of Confirmation together.  The program offers dynamic teaching, peer interaction, awareness of other communities of worship and most importantly a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We also offer an Older Confirmation program every other year, or as needed. This is an abbreviated version of our regular confirmation program for students in grades 7-12.
